Question: What are the season pass holder rules and regulations?
Age:
Season passes are required for any person four years of age and older. If a child turns four during the park season, the child is required to obtain a season pass to enter the park for the remainder of the season.
Parking:
Season pass holders will be provided parking free of charge once a season pass has been purchased. Simply show your season pass certificate on your first visit to receive free parking. Once you have acquired your 2013 photo ID season pass card, simply show your pass at the parking gate and your vehicle will be admitted free of charge for all subsequent visits. You must present your season pass for free entry into the parking lot. If you fail to present your pass or do not have your pass with you, a refund for parking will not be given at the front gate.
Point of Purchase:
Season passes must be purchased prior to entry into the park.
Fraudulent Use:
Season passes are valid only for one individual and are non-transferable. A pass photo will be issued for all season pass holders. Any fraudulent use of a season pass, as defined below, with or without the consent of the passholder , will result in the revocation of the season pass.
Any fraudulent attempt to gain entry into Adventureland Park by any person or persons using a season pass not belonging to them will result in that season pass holders privileges being revoked.
Any season pass holder found to have transferred a hand stamp to another individual will result in the revocation of the season pass.
Lost/Forgotten Season Pass Cards:
Any season pass reported as lost or stolen to Adventureland's admissions department will immediately be cancelled for the remainder of the season. You must purchase a replacement pass for $10, even if you later find your old pass. We stronly recommend you report any card that is lost or stolen to protect it against fraudelent use.
In the event you lose your season pass card and or forget to bring it with you to the park, you are allowed one free lookup per year at the front gate. After one free lookup, the season pass holder will be charged ten dollars for a season pass reprint up to and including the last day of park season.
The season pass holder must be present to request a reprint. A reprint will be issued, upon the request of the pass holder, for a fee of $10.
After a second lost season pass, the season pass holder will need to purchase a new pass at the posted rate.
Forgotten Season Pass Certificates:
In the event you forget your season pass certificate, a fee of $25 per certificate will be charged at the front gate.
Lost/Stolen Season Pass Certificates:
Adventureland Park is not responsible for lost or stolen season pass certificates. If you cannot find your season pass certificate and originally opted to print your season pass certificate from a personal computer, login to your Adventureland account and re-print your season pass certificate. In the event you are unable to find your season pass certificate or reprint your certificate, a fee of $25 dollars per season pass certificate will be charged to access and reprint a certificate.
Refunds:
Redeemed season pass certificates will not be refunded for any reason. Unused 2013 season pass certificates can be refunded through September 15th, 2013 by contacting Adventureland's Accounting Office at (515) 266 2121. Unused season pass certificates cannot be refunded at the front gate.
Rainouts:
In the event the park closes early due to rain, season pass holders are not entitled to a complimentary return ticket.
Unused Season Pass Certificates:
Unused Season Pass Certificates may only be upgraded from the prior year for $25. For example, if you purchased a season pass in 2012 you are only allowed to upgrade that pass in 2013 for $25. After 2013, a 2012 unused season pass certificate will not be upgraded. The price of a season pass upgrade may be adjusted in subsequent years.
Park Rules and Regulations:
Any season pass holder in violation of Adventureland Park's posted rules and regulations is subject to the revocation of their season pass.
